Mindfulness-Informed Fatigue Management (MIFM)
An 8-Week Mindfulness and Occupational Therapy Programme for Fatigue, Recovery, and Wellbeing
The complete 8-week programme including QR-linked videos, guided meditations, mindful movement practices, podcasts, worksheets, and downloadable resources.
Living with fatigue can feel like constantly running on empty. It can affect concentration, emotions, relationships, work, and the ability to engage in the activities that matter most. Yet many people are left feeling misunderstood, unsupported, or trapped in a cycle of pushing through exhaustion only to crash again.
Mindfulness-Informed Fatigue Management (MIFM) offers a different approach.
Rather than fighting fatigue, MIFM helps you develop the awareness, skills, and confidence to work with your body and mind more effectively, supporting recovery, resilience, and long-term wellbeing.
Through this programme you will learn how to:
• Better understand the causes and patterns of fatigue
• Recognise early warning signs of overload
• Balance activity, rest, and recovery
• Reduce stress and support nervous system regulation
• Use mindfulness to respond more skilfully to fatigue
• Build sustainable routines that support health and wellbeing
Developed by Consultant Neuro Specialist Occupational Therapist and BAMBA-registered mindfulness teacher Charles Talbot, MIFM combines mindfulness, occupational therapy, fatigue recovery principles, and neuroscience within a practical and accessible framework.
At the heart of the programme is the philosophy of Momenting:
Momenting is the art of healing through connection to the present moment. By training attention, we cultivate awareness. Through awareness, we create the conditions for neuroplasticity, recovery, resilience, and meaningful change.
Whilst MIFM was developed for people living with fatigue, its principles extend far beyond fatigue itself. Whether you are recovering from illness, managing stress, preventing burnout, or simply striving to be at your best, MIFM offers practical tools for cultivating greater awareness, resilience, and wellbeing.
Learn to work with your body and mind rather than against them and discover a more sustainable way of living well.
