To coincide with the October book readings Smell & Bogey teamed up with Rugby FM and local company Party Genies.com, (They make and sell wall friendly adhesive tape for hanging up balloons and party decorations) the perfect company to create a fun competition to run in time for Halloween. We invited children down to the local shopping centre on the Saturday before Halloween for a book signing and some Halloween fun. All you had to do was stick the bogey (in this case a green party balloon) onto a huge picture of Smell & Bogey for a chance to win Halloween hampers crammed full of party decorations, costumes and balloons and £50 of shopping vouchers to spend on anything you want. The nearest bogey balloon to Bogey's nostril by the end of the day won – Well done to our three winners – 3rd place was Vinny, 2nd place was Lauren and 1st place went to Sam Anczarski! Jason called him up to congratulate on the radio – Sam will be spending his £50 on clothes and computer games. 

Children and parents were queuing up all day to enter, the Smell & Bogey team were overwhelmed, not to mention exhausted from the response and Party Genies.com have invited the author back to talk about another exciting Christmas campaign in December (More on that to follow soon)

Smell & Bogey are online once again! After the original Smell & Bogey website went offline we have been developing a new and more interactive site and after several meetings with web designers we decided to do it ourselves. Smell and Bogey will be teaming up with Sainsbury's Rugby to help promote their Christmas Toy Appeal. Each year the store tries to collect as many new toys for children in need each festive session, Smell and Bogey will be joining forces to encourage children into store and giving them a chance to win some presents of their own.
