If you’re interested in taking part in as many self-publishing related events to help improve your understanding of the industry as well as having the opportunity to network with fellow authors and pick up some tips for your independent publishing journey The Self Publishing Conference is coming in May and this could just be the event for you no matter where you are on your adventure.
The conference is taking place at the University of Leicester Stamford Court Conference Centre in Oadby (LE2 2LH). This is the third self-publishing conference and has become an increasingly popular event since the rise in popularity of self-published authors in the industry, with 2014 seeing a complete sell-out for the event.
The event will be bringing together key figures from the publishing sector including names such as Bridget Shine, Alison Baverstock, Aimee Bell, Emily Benet, Ben Cameron, Cressida Downing, Stuart Evers, Clive Herbert, Helen Lewis, Jennifer Liptrot, Sue Magee, Ayisha Malik, Sarah Taylor, Jeremy Thompson and Tom Chalmers.
With invaluable insight from a series of sessions taking place over the day between 9am and 6pm with speakers from the Independent Publishers Guild discussing the rise of indie publishing. As well as people from leading agencies, companies and Universities discussing all factors of publishing discussing key talking points such as marketing, sales, reviews and editing and more.
